County Micro Insurance Coordinators (Temporary Engagement for 4 Months)
Job purpose
Reporting to the Micro insurance Consultant, He/she shall identify prospective distribution partners for Agricultural Micro Insurance products leading to sales, adoption and use.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage and successfully on-board micro insurance products’ distribution partners
- To track and monitor performance of the partners on pre-agreed goals and sales on timely basis
- Train the champions and agents of the partner on micro Insurance products
- Conduct business intelligence on micro Insurance within the county
- To manage key relationships with the distribution partners
- To ensure appropriate marketing and sales campaign are run for the agri –insurance products,
- Performance management of champions/agent efforts to ensure insurance product sales targets are met
- Business intelligence development and provide feedback of the same to the Micro Insurance Consultant on a monthly basis
- Provide weekly reports on closed sales
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
- Bachelor’s in Agriculture related field. Masters’ degree is an added advantage
- A Professional certification or training in insurance e.g. ACII, AIIK is an added advantage.
- 5-7 years’ experience, 2-3 of which should have been in managerial sales distribution role.
